Owls
Year 4

What an amazing first week back together!!!
It has been brilliant having everyone back in the classroom. We have had so much fun this week: team building, science, art, topic.
One of our art projects was to make our own dream catchers.

We did lots of team building this week. I think our favourite was building towers with spaghetti and marshmallows. It did make quite a bit of mess!!
We learned about the digestive system by creating our own!!!!
We mashed bananas, crackers and orange juice and simulated the intestives with tights!
Some of the faces are brilliant!

Remote Learning
Well done to everyone, whether you were in school or at home. You have been amazing.
We are so so so proud of you all.
Thank you to all the adults who helped at home.
You are amazing too.

World Book Day
Just because we were not all in school, doesn't mean we couldn't have an amazing World Book Day.
We created book covers, wrote stories, made potato characters and loads more.
Egyptian Day!
What a day! The children looked amazing and had great fun breaking into the tomb and learning more about Ancient Egypt.
Have a look at our photo galleries to join in with our fun.

Look at the amazing costumes!
Kings, Queens, mummies and explorers.
Inside the tomb we found an Ancient Egyptian sarcophagus. And naturally, all the children wanted to get inside!!!!!!!

Mummification
We started our Egyptian topic this week by learning about the brilliant (yet disgusting!) mummification process.
We talked about why mummification was needed in ANCIENT EGYPTIAN TIMES. wE THEN mummified oranges! look at all the mess!!!!!
