Daily Routines at Moorlands Primary

7:45am – Breakfast club opens

 

8:35am  – The school gates open. Members of the Senior Leadership Team will be in the playground to welcome parents and children. Children have a 'soft' start to the day where they can enter the classroom from 8:50am, put their things away and get started with a relaxed activity such as reading for pleasure.

 

9.00am- The school day starts. Registers are taken in the classrooms followed by the first lesson of the day.

 

Playtime is at 10:35-10.50am.

 

Lunchtimes are staggered with the Reception children starting from 11:45am. Lunchtime for children in Key Stage 1 starts at 12:15 and is at 12:30pm for children in Key Stage 2.

 

At 3:05pm all gates will open to allow parents and carers into the playground where they can wait for their children. The children are dismissed at 3:15pm.

The School Office opens at 8:30am and closes at 4:30pm.
