It's Christmas!!!

Woodpeckers have worked incredibly hard this week to bring viewers a Makaton performance of  Wizard's classic 'I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday'.

We also got into the Christmas spirit by playing some games and getting creative...

To conclude our Year 4 Christmas party day, we transformed the classroom into a cinema where we indulged in deluxe hot chocolates and treats! We all had such a thrilling day!

ELEGANT EGYPTIANS

Egyptian day was an absolute blast! The children looked phenomenal in their costumes - fantastic job, parents! Woodpecker class really enjoyed breaking into the the secret tomb and spending the day as citizens of ancient Egypt.

Once in the tomb, the children couldn't believe what they were seeing... An ancient sarcophagus! Worryingly, it was empty...but we were able to get in and the kids loved it.  Check out the images below to see them as mummies!
